Lost and found

Ever wondered where a lost person is? You're sure that he isn't dead but just lost. Or that odd sock that mysteriously vanished in the washing machine, or your car keys that you swear had kept in it's place but are not there anymore. I'd come across this book long time ago from one of my favourite authors, Cecelia Ahern, 'A place called here'. I totally loved how she thought and composed her imagination in this book, talking about a place where all the 'lost things' have made a world of their own. And not just things, but lost time.. lost love.. lost memories.. everything that once was, is now just lost, and how it has ironically found itself in this place.
And what made me love the book even more is how she has connected it to reality, that, you just need to be wise and be grateful for what you have because like she beautifully quoted, "It's difficult to know which second among a lifetime of seconds is more special. Often when you realise how precious those seconds are, it's too late for them to be captured because the moment has passed. We realise too late." That not just time.. love.. but everything once lost cannot be found and like every other mortal we try to find it in the oddest of places...

Because, "Sometimes, that's all people ever really need. Just to know."

Until next time,
Sham :)
